Time for a ROW80 update! You can find my new set of goals here. I like the new post format since the reboot: updates only on Sundays and always with a little something else.
I missed last week’s update due to a short trip. This post is an update of the last two weeks.

Writing goals:
- Write 2,500 words/week. I got into a good rhythm here. 5,222 words in the last two weeks!
- Outline of CRIMSON. Worked a lot on it. The skeletal outline is almost ready, and the detailed one is well on its way!
- Re-write career plan. The class is ending, and I didn’t catch up. I’ll try to do it offline.
Social Media goals:
- Blog schedule: 1-2 posts/week, plus ROW80 updates on Sundays. Missed last Sunday’s post.
- Create a stash of blog topics and blog posts. Not a “stash”, but I wrote a guest post and I have one ready for next week. The best week this year
- Support fellow writers. Got on track on this item! Thank you, friends, for your patience and understanding.
Personal goals:
- Exercise at least 4 times a week (at least 2 runs and 2 workouts). I will give it a green, even though the workouts were very soft, and the runs were just long, brisk walks. I feel sluggish.
- Study/Research at least 2 hours/week. Yes and yes!
- Read every day. I see a Kindle on the horizon… I hope it helps me with this.
Thanks for all your support!

This week we’re updating some of the latest blog posts:
The post about a repentant bully got strong responses. Time magazine just ran a controversial article on bullying.
The Meryl Streep post had a link to a gallery of her roles. EW magazine created a more encompassing collage. It’s a homage to her and her makeup artist. Both won Oscars this year.
After I wrote about the parakeets flying away, a few people asked me how Captain America got his name. The answer is wordless:

Finally, since the family had a Rubik’s cube breakthrough this week, I decided to post an impressive clip about solving a cube. Fast. And blindfolded!.
Have a great week!

Hey Fabio, you’re rocking the goals this time. Well done!
Thanks, Prudence! I just noticed that this round of ROW80 ends in less than two weeks! Where did 2012 go?
Holy Cow Batman, did you have a great week (or two weeks.) or what? You are amazing Fabio! A mini trip with the Family, all that plotting, outlining and writing. Just amazing! This is inspiring to me Fabio and I hope you have another great week like the last one!
Hi, Karen! I wish all weeks were like the last one. Very productive indeed. I’m so glad.
Here’s to another great week!
Fabulous couple of weeks there! Way to go. Love how you ‘rate’ in color, it just puts a smile on my face. Wishing you the best for the upcoming week.
I’ve got to tell you, Raelyn, I also smile when I see all the greens in the status update…
Thanks for the visit – have a great week!
Congrats on an awesome week, especially with your writing! Love the comparison between the “Captain Americas”!
Thanks, Jen! Yes, it was very easy to name him “Captain America”
Wow, Fabio, you’ve got some great stuff going on. And Rubik’s cube in 30 seconds, *blindfolded*?? Sheesh!
Hi, Jennifer. Yeah, can you imagine? I still haven’t been able to solve a cube – even seeing it and with all the time in the world
wtg Fabio. well done. wow
Thanks, Louise! The most important thing is to always have pages ready for the weekly crit meeting
Enjoy your week!
LOVE how Cap got his name. Perfect.
Also, that video was just incredible. I love the kid behind him that was on a minute and some seconds who leaned over and was just like, “Wow, really?” then went back to struggling with his own. Haha. Aren’t people just amazing?
LOL, Karen! I noticed the kid too. He is as amazed as I was the first time I saw this clip.
Isn’t Cap’s name perfect? I like naming pets, kids, and characters
I used to be able to solve the Rubik’s cube. That was a long time ago. Wish I could view the video. Still missing all the right apps and programs to run everything properly. I bet it’s amazing. Yes, if you know the Captain’s story, no words are needed. It’s perfectly clear. Awesome update, Fabio. Way to go.
Thanks, Debra! I hope your “computing ability” is restored soon
Well done on all your progress Fabio!
Thanks, Janet! Nice to have you visiting.
Captain America is a fine looking fellow!
Isn’t he? And brave too! Thanks for visiting, Roy!
You’re rocking those goals, Fabio! I love it. Have a great week!
Thanks, Jessica! You’re an incredible supporter!
Congratulations on accomplishing the goals! You’re awesome!
