Today is Jillian Dodd Day!
If you’re a reader of books, you might know Jillian from her brilliant best-selling novels: That Boy, That Wedding, Stalk Me, and Kiss Me. Have you seen her name all over Amazon’s Hot New Releases, Movers and Shakers, and Top Rated lists? Yes, that Jillian.
If you’re a writer, you may have met Jillian in an online forum, Facebook, Twitter, or Blog, Or, in person, at a conference, book signing, or at the Twilight/Breaking Down premiere. You probably talked about books and publishing, and she probably gave you an incredible idea you would never come up with yourself.
I met Jillian through an online writers group. She immediately stood out because of her astonishing insights and her relentless support of other writers, no matter if they were indie or trad, or the genre they wrote. Since then, I’ve been looking up to her. She’s kind of an unofficial (and probably unwitting) mentor of mine. Jillian even provided a blurb/endorsement for my book!

Yes, as I’ve said now many times as I visit the authors I know that participated in this wonderful event, Jillian Dodd is such a giving person which I think is one of the reasons why she is so successful. She’s a great example to all of us. Congratulations Jillian!
